A very busy day for us today with events all over the country, but I’m down with the Petts Wood Running Club where the weather is dull but perfect for running.

Today were down at Beckton Park, for the 1st Credit Suisse Beckton Park Challenge. The junior race start at 9:15 and the 5K and 10K starting at 10:15. Hopefully the weather stays nice for todays races.

The Junior 3K is now complete the lead male Lukas Kundrotas did a great time of 00:14:04 and the lead female Emily Cornuauo with a great time of 00:14:29.
Love Life Love Running 10K is now complete seeing 200 Entrants in Cannock Chase, Thank you to Engage Events our sister company for throwing an excellent event.
Well done to the male leader Ashley Sabin for completing it in a time of 0:33:28 and to Carol Yarrow the leading women with a time of 00:41:48.

The 2010 McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K is set to get under way with 1200 runners making an appearance. The weather is pleasant on Scarborough sea front.

The 17th annual Midlands Lung Run went ahead on a sunny Sunday morning in Sutton Coldfield Park. Winning the 10K race was Pete Lyons in a time of 00:39:15. The 5K race was won by Paul Thacker in a time of 00:18:44.

A beautiful morning in the Cheshire countryside saw Mike Hatton come in first place with a exceptional time of 00:38:44 as the leading male runner. Nikki Lowe finished first for the females with a time of 00:46:07.
