Today we’re down on the channel islands. The sun is out in Jersey and the 2011 Standard Chartered Marathon is under way. The Marathon Relay will start shortly at 9:30 followed by the 3K Fun Run at 10:00.

Well done to Finlay Wright on finishing 1st in the 2011 Jersey Fun Run with a time of 00:09:58 also Congratulations to Catherine Billington the 1st female across the line in a time of 00:11:44. The results for the Fun Run are now available at www.chipresults.co.uk
A large round of applause goes out to the marathon runners in today’s heat the lead male was Jethro Lennox in an astonishing time of 2:32:05 and the lead female Shona Crombie-Hicks with an impressive time of 02:53:36.
We’d like to congratulate everyone who has taken part in today’s events and thank you to all the spectators for coming out and showing their support.

Today were down in Regents Park, London for the 2011 JDRF London 5K. The lead male James Parker finishing in a time of 0:19:38 and the lead female Loren Alleyne with a time of 0:27:29.

Love Life Love Running 10K is now complete seeing 200 Entrants in Cannock Chase, Thank you to Engage Events our sister company for throwing an excellent event.
Well done to the male leader Ashley Sabin for completing it in a time of 0:33:28 and to Carol Yarrow the leading women with a time of 00:41:48.
